With a solid background in education and technology, I deliver mobile and web development, programming and design training to advanced level, specialising in ECMAScript, Python and other high-end courses.

Based in the UK I train people to solve problems and to own the solution. My wealth of real-life experience makes for lively and responsive courses that genuinely meet people's needs.

Web Stack

Over thirty two years I've trained thousands of people to engage with emerging technologies, understanding important ideas like efficient, performant, manageable code.

I have plenty of experience with modern client-side programming techniques and design patterns, including ECMAScript, TypeScript, Angular, React and Vue.

I'm convinced that testing code leads to better outcomes so take every opportunity to include unit and end-to-end testing as part of course delivery.

My Python courses span data analysis, research, automation, microservices and Django. Any level of Python training is a treat to deliver, and I really enjoy fulfilling peoples objectives.

Clearly any trainer needs to be grounded in real work so I take on development projects to keep the training sharp.

I matriculated from Cambridge University with a degree in Physics with Education in 1983.

I am married to Lisa and we have two fantastic children. I've always involved myself in the local community, as a school governor, director of a local youth charity, and volunteer for several local charities. DIY, cars, arduino and other computers keep me busy.
